Career transition support (outplacement services) assists retrenched employees to take ownership of their career and move forward constructively.
Our Outplacement and Career Transition specialist service provides caring, empathetic, practical and forward focused assistance for affected employees are transitioning through redundancy or re-deployment.
Programs can be tailored to suit individual candidate needs. These can be from one session to longer (up to twelve months) programs.
Programs are offered for candidates from entry level through to senior executive level.
Outplacement Services: What is it?
We provide a combination of Assessment + Strategy + Self-Marketing tools.
Programs can be delivered face-to-face, online or in combination.
Dependent upon the length of program, a combination of the following activities may be undertaken:
Self-reflection: Assessing current skills, preferences, values and career aspirations
Career goal setting: Identifying potential new career directions
Personal branding: Coaching in developing skills to articulate candidate’s value proposition within the current market
Networking: Learning how to identify and tap networks
Understanding the current employment market and how this will impact the job search
Personal marketing: Placing candidates competitively with effective marketing tools including:
o Updated resume with assistance from a professional resume writer
o Professional cover letter
o Professional LinkedIn profile with assistance from a professional writer
Job search strategy: Developing a tailored, comprehensive job search strategy
Interview skills: Developing key interview skills via coaching, with an emphasis on behavioural interviewing and group interviewing techniques
LinkedIn coaching: how to use LinkedIn as an effective aid in job search and career development
Access to our Online Career Management portal to provide 24/7 access to career transition tools, learning tutorials and information to support the candidate throughout their program. Team Member to Manager/Leader within their organisation.
With support from our Outplacement Consultants, individuals will develop new skills and gain confidence in moving through to their next career opportunity.
